ahhhhhhhh I had to post some more of my trainyard shots. there were just so many, and I cant seem to pick my favorites.

and theres so many different colours of rust on these things, its just addicting now. I cant seem to stop searching for rusty broken down old things to take photos of.

trying my hand at different perspectives too, getting down low, holding the camera up higher than my head and just clicking, as well as trying to get odd angles into the frame.

so I hope Im not boring you with my train yard :) I had about 250 or so photos from there. ;) I rather like that place :D

this is an incredibly good image. the color balance is perfect, and the composition is beautifully balanced. this is simply a very good photograph. normally i would look at this sort of picture and wish it were done in b+w. you have a very good sense for color, and i find myself preferring it in color over b+w.

Thank you. I did try it in black and white too, and I just couldnt get myself to go that way. there was just something about having two different coloured cars in the same shot and it stole the contrast too much when I desaturated it.

glad you like it in colour. I do too :D

thank you

Yep,trainyard is a wonderful place to take shots.
This one is my favorite in the series, because I find it more bright in color and not like the others with so much rust and shadow.
I don't like those things so much, but I have to admit that without rust and shadow the trainyard is no longer a fascinating place.

Why not choose a gloomy day and invade the trainyard again,it will surely make different and come up in another taste,do you think so?

nice one. :)

I like the two different colors to the cars and how they curve up and around the center of the photograph.
