was out delivering pizza the other day and happened to deliver to this gorgeous little house that had this pretty little gate covered in roses and such, and I asked the lil old man if I could take a photo of it and he just about cried. His wife had passed away recently and that was her pride and joy (her roses) and so I took this photo and got it printed and I kept my delivery tag and am going to send it to him as a print.
I hope thats a good idea....if you dont think it is, please lemme know. I know how hard it is to lose someone you love and I dunno if that would be a good thing to send him, if it will just remind him of her and make him sad by looking at it
anyway, this is his garden gate. Its locked now he says, so no one can trample her roses.

Darn you Jen you near made me cry with this story, big ole knot in my throat, coupled with this fabulous picture, I don't know how you are always meeting all these people and telling us abou them, its like your whole life is some sort of grand adventure, just makes me hate my job where I am stuck in one little dingy p;lace all day long with people I don't particularly care much at all for, I dunno, maybe I need to talk to the people more and enjoy some of their cherished memories, pry a little bit, take some time out of my hurried day, and live a little, thats what you most certainly did here, and I think in doing so, you brought an intense amount of joy to this old man in the process, who "wouldn't" want this print? its a beautiful love filled spectacular color photo, traditional in many ways, but amazing in that the light is almost sending a message above, like the Light is in some way, watching over you and tat very beautiful cared for rose on the trellis that was obviously planted and tended to with love and care,
